White Girl

Trench - Vintage
Tee Shirt - Forever 21
Jeans - ASOS
Heels - Mossimo
Necklace - Urban Outfitters

I know. I know you only scrolled down here to see where in the world I found this bomb fur trench coat. Well I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I found this beauty at my local thrift shop. The saying is true: someone's trash may be someone else's treasure. Girl, I nearly fell on the floor when I found this on the rack. It fit like a glove too?! I basically ran out the store with it. I suggest you go out right now and head to a vintage shop or thrift store, because you never know what you may find. Besides, it's always cool to mix high end with low end or at least vintage pieces with your more current garments.

Oh and don't mind my strappy heels, I wore them just for this look - I know it's winter. I threw some closed-toe nude heels on afterwards. Hope you liked this look as much as I did, even though it is REALLY low-key for me! Ha! I know I'm super late but I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Bye!

xoxo Kiersten

P.S Why am I just realizing I had my hands in my pockets in like 90% of these pictures? Who do I think I am?!

Have you ever been a bridesmaid in a wedding and actually kind of liked your dress? Me neither. But hey, I believe there is somebody out there who just adored that persimmon colored dress from David's Bridal that made them look like a walking carrot, I'm just saying it's not me. Anyway, to the lucky girls who was actually bestowed the opportunity to wear and own a delightful bridesmaid dress, there is life after the wedding aisle! So pull out that dress from the back of your closet and zip it up...time to be a Bridesmaid Rockstar (BR for short, I'd like to think).

The first step, of course, would be to have a rockstar-kinda-bridesmaid dress. Enter in Weddington Way. Weddington Way is an online boutique started in San Francisco, CA that offers the modern day bride a wide selection of top brands in wedding party style. Their extensive collection of bridesmaids dresses, accessories, and ties for groomsmen makes it easy to shop for the entire bridal party in your perfect palette.

So you can imagine how excited I was when the good folks over at www.WeddingtonWay.com  reached out to me and asked for me to be apart of their November Style Challenge! During the month of November, they are asking fashion bloggers to virtually transform a bridesmaid dress of our choice from their Weddington Way bridesmaid dress page and create a traditional wedding day look as well as a weekend outfit using the same bridesmaid dress! I think I did an okay job, but let me know what you think. Have a good one guys!

P.S I will have a personal look for you in the next blog post, hang in there guys! Happy Thanksgiving!
